Terms of Service for Home, Building, Property, and Land Owners

We are committed to eliminating any and all barriers that stand between people and rewnewable energy.

We are committed to fixing any issues as they arise, learning and growing from our mistakes, and constantly improving our process for our participants and our partners as we live into our mission.

Definitions:"We", "us", and "our" in the following content is ovanova, inc. And "you", "your", and "you're" is the home, building, property, or land owner using the ovanova platform to explore solar energy while raising funds for an organization or cause. "Solar Education Partner(s)" are the companies with whom we share your information.

Terms of Service for Solar Offerings

• We will share the information you submit using our platform with one solar education partner. We will do this securely. Your data will always be protected and never resold to spammers.
• You will be contacted by the solar education partner who serves your area. You are approving this call even if you are presently on a do not call list.
• This call will eithe come to you directly, or you will recieve an email and or text to schedule your time to call.
• You will also recieve a confirmation text from us, normal text messaging rates will apply.
• Our service is currently only available to home, building, property and land owners.
• The $5- donation will be activated when the following happens:
• The address submitted for solar exploration is in an area where we currently offer service. For a complete list of states where our service is available, please see our FAQ.
• You haven't used our service to explore solar for the same address.
• You complete one of our campaign forms and participate in a brief (approx. 15 min) conversation with your area's solar education partner.
• You share the information necessary to create a free custom solar proposal with the solar education partner serving you. This information is: a copy, screenshot, or picture of an energy bill showing twelve months' electricity usage, and a clear picture of the utility panel used at the address where you are exploring solar.
• In some areas you may choose to share your power usage by logging into your utility company.
• You receive an electronic price and savings projection for a custom-designed solar system for your home or property.
• Your personally identifiable information (PII) will not be revealed to any solar installer until after you have chosen to adopt solar energy. This keeps you from recieving calls from multiple installers.
• After you complete the solar exploration campaign form, ovanova and our solar education partners may send you relevant communications which you may unsubscribe from if you so choose.
• The donation will go to the organization listed on the campaign form.
• If you completed a form where you nominated a new organization or cause, the donation will go to that organization. When the $50+ donation is activated, we may contact you if the contact information for the cause or organization you wish to support isn't publically available online.
• If an organization refuses to accept a donation, we will hold the funds for six months from the date the donation was activated. If the funds remain unclaimed, we will donate it to another organization of our choice.
• All donations will be made within one month of receiving payment from our solar education partner.
• After you are contacted by the solar education partner serving your area, that solar education partner is solely responsible for any problems that may arise.
• All installers accepted into our solar education partners' networks are professionally screened, as well as licensed, bonded, and insured.
• In some areas, rather than having installers bid, other methods are used to find below market rates for people who use our service.

Terms of Service for Wind Offerings

• When accepting a wind power offering, funds will be donated within six weeks.
